Miss Nora Lavvlor has returned to Kurow after five weeks’ holidays spent in Central Otago and Southland.
Mrs E. T. Day gave her sister (Miss Ann Fulton) a kitchen evening in honour of her marriage, which takes place early in November. About 40 guests were present, and the bride to be was the recipient of many useful presents. Later in the evening dancing was enjoyed in a room prettily decorated with bowls of spring flowers.
