A PLEASANT HOLIDAY
THE KING IN DALMATIA CHEERED BY VAST CROWD (United Press Association) (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) BELGRADE, August 17. The King, after seeing the sights of Korcula in the afternoon yesterday, including Fort St. Vitus, which was built during the British occupation of Osland in 1813, and the cathedral, spent the evening fishing by the light of Chinese lanterns in accordance with an old Dalmatian custom. Some of his guests attended the historic play. The Nahlin put in to Dubrovnik to-day, dignitaries receiving the visitors with great ceremonial. Journalists for the first time were allowed to approach the King, who inspected the city parks, while a vast crowd cheered. He thanked the police officers for ensuring a pleasant holiday. Tilasnitza Bay, where the King spent the first night of his Adriatic trip, has been rechristened Edward the Eighth Bay.
