HOSPITAL PRACTICE
TO THE EDITOR.
Sir,—l would like to say it is pretty evident that “Ring" has an axe to grind, and it appears to me that he or she can see no wrong in the ghoulish practice of some hospital .oards in selling the wedding rings of those poor" unfortunates who may die in their care. As for Dr M’Millan not knowing whether he is going or coming, my advice to “Ring” is to continue to hide behind a nom de plume, or else the fallacy of that statement might be brought home to some good effect by Dr M’Millan. I would also like to say that we of Dunedin are very lucky to have a young man of Dr M’Millan’s undoubted ability representing us on the City Council as well as in Parliament. —I am, etc., W. Richards. Belleknowes, August 18.
