Tozer, M.A., led in prayer. The following office-bearers were elected for the ensuing year:—President, the Rev. B. M. Tasker, 8.A.; vice-presidents—the Rev. T. R. B. Wooloxall, Messrs E. Lukey and A. Ganderton; secretary, Mr W. A. Lawry; minute secretary, Mr F. Harman; treasurer. Mr H. Nixon; delegates to the C.Y.C., the Rev. L. Williamson and the secretary; meetings convener, C. Chirnside; hospitality convener, Mr R. Ingram; sports convener, Mr H. Skuse; auxiliary members secretary, Mr E. MacFarlane; delegates to* district executive, Messrs J. Avery and E. Lukey. A vote of thanks to the outgoing executive was passed, special mention being made to the president, the Rev. D. O. Williams, M.A. It was decided to recommend to the New Zealand Executive Council that the application of the South Otago classes for the formation of a sub-union be sustained. With a view to enlisting the support of the ministers of the district it was decided that a notice of each meeting be sent. The new president, in an outline of the coming year’s work, said that a spiritual advance campaign was proposed, and that a flying squad be inaugurated and the old system of class visitation be revived. The Rev. H. Tozer, M.A., travelling secretary of the New Zealand Union, then expressed the good wishes of the New Zealand executive and wished the union success for the coming year. Mr R. M’Kinlay said that as it was Mr Tozer’s last meeting, he would like to express the feeling of those present by saying: “ We are pleased to have met you.”
