FIRST NEW ZEALAND CONFERENCE
(Per United Press Association) WELLINGTON, August 11. The first New Zealand Hockey As- ■ socialion conference was held to-day. more than 30 delegates attending. It was stated that the possibility ot i a tour to Europe was being considered It was decided to seek representatior s on the International Hockey Board. Two boundary commissions are tc be appointed to reconsider the bound aries of the major associations. The possibility is being considerec of arranging a visit to New Zealand .. in 1939 of a Japanese team. A remit was passed that a levy oone shilling be made on all player: over 16 years of age to provide i fund to send a hockey team to Japar in 1940 for the Olympic Games.
