A PERTH PERFORMANCE
The aged pacing gelding Dillon Huon, who won his. first races in Auckland for M'Kendrick Bros, and later was successful in the colours of the late Mr .1, R. Corrigan, won the Onslow Handicap at the recent Gloucester Park meeting, Perth. This was his first success for two seasons, but, in spite of this, the Harold Dillon gelding was at a short price. Dillon Huon was last in a field of 20 horses with half a lap to go, but with a brilliant dash he scored well in 4inin Sjsec for a mile and threequarters, a 2min HUsoc rate for a mile. The track is very small, enhancing the value of the ex-New Zealander’s effort, and he received an ovation.
