CENTRAL MISSION CONCERT
An enjoyable concert was held on Wednesday evening in the Central Mission Sunday School Hall in aid of funds for the jumble stall in connection with a bazaar which is to be held in the near future. There was a very good attendance, and the chair was occupied by the Rev. L. B. Neale. The programme presented was a well-varied one, the following contributing items; —Mrs Te Tan’s Maori Party; novelty piano duet. Messrs D. S. and W. S. Sharp; recitations, Winnie Dowic; sword dance, Master Jim Flett: elocution. Miss Audrey Stephen: solos. Mr W. Sutherland: combined accord ion. mouth organ and drum select ion. Uncle Ben; novelty item, the Stewart famih’; recitations. Betty Lydia tv: sailors hornpipe, Gwen. Kelly; mouth organ, singing and dancing, the Stewart Trio: vocal numbers, Mr Tasker; recitations, Mary Lydinte. The chairman extended his thanks to Mr and Mrs Grantham, the jumble stall holders, for their untiring efforts, and to the performers for their valuable services.
