EIGHT BATTALIONS
BRITISH TROOPS IN PALESTINE BLUEJACKETS GUARD TRAINS (United .Press Association) (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) JERUSALEM, June 10. Another battalion of British troops, bringing the strength up to eight battalions, has arrived in Palestine. Bluejackets are guarding the trains. The first determined Arab attack on the Jewish settlements occurred near Armageddon. The firing lasted two hours, and the Arabs fled when British reinforcements arrived.
