MOTOR CYCLE SMASH
ONE MAN KILLED ANOTHER SERIOUSLY INJURED (Per United Press Association) NEW PLYMOUTH, June 11. . One man was killed and another senouHly injured at Oakura to-night. They were found lying on the road near their damaged motor cycle in circumstances that suggested they had been struck by a car. The dead man was Leonard Blanehard, a farm hand employed in the district. Thomas Jury, also a young farm hand, was admitted to hospital with injuries to his less and chest. He is m a serious condition. The police are investigating, but have not yet traced the other vehicle involved in the collision.
