REVENUE AND EXPENDITURE (British Official Wireless) RUGBY, June 9. The Exchequer returns show that the, total ordinary revenue, excludin'* selfbalancing items, amounts to £93,907,203, compared with £100,370.834 at the corrcepoiiding date last year. The yield of surtax, of stamp and Customs and several minor items is greater than for the same period last financial year, but receipts from income tax and estate duties are less. However, the principal difference in revenue to date between the present and last financial years is under the heading miscellaneous receipts, which are over £2.500,000 less. The total ordinary expenditure, exclusive of self-balancing items, is compared with £154,093,928 at the corresponding date in 1933.
