Returned Soldiers’ Association The June meeting of the Upper Waitaki Association was held in Mr Small’s residence. Those present were Messrs A. H. Chapman (president), W. J. M'Lean (vice-president), and A. Don, J. K. Hill. D. Small, H. Stewart, and E. Middleton. The treasurer's and secretary’s reports showed that the position of the branch was remarkably healthy for an infant association just over two years old. Analysis of the Poppy returns showed a consistent increase of some £3OO over the returns previous to the formation of the branch. Membership returns showed that subscriptions are coming in exceedingly well.
