Chamber of Commerce At the Quarterly meeting of the Gore Chamber of Commerce on Tuesday evening, Mr H. H. Doughty presiding, an interesting description of the Smithfield Meat Market at London was given by Mr A. Derbie. manager of the Southland Frozen Meat Company, in an address. An invitation for a reciprocal visit was received from the Invercargill Chamber of Commerce. The letter stated that it was hoped to arrange for a social evening, at which matters of importance to both chambers could be discussed. June 16 and 18 were suggested as suitable dates. It was decided to suggest that the visit be postponed until September, when the weather would probably be more favourable. A
