PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council has made the following amended regulation governing the hours for the driving of stock through the Wakari District from the Upper Leith area to and from the Sale Yards at Burnside, viz.— “That the Council hereby prescribes the following routes and hours for the driving of cattle and sheep from the upper Leith District to and from the Sale Yards at Burnside, viz.— (1) For cattle from the Upper Leith area to the Burnside Sale Yards, via Wakari road, Helensburgh road, Taieri road, thence via Kaikorai Valley road to the southern boundary of the City. (2) (a) That cattle and sheep may be driven along any portion of the above described route at any time excepting between the hours of 8.30 a.m. and 9 o’clock a.m., and between the hours of 10 o’clock a.m. and 4 o'clock p.m., of (he same day.
