THE BRITISH MAIL SCHEME AGREED TO BY AUSTRALIA LONDON. June 8. The report that Australia has agreed to the fundamentals of the British air mail scheme is received with satisfaction in official quarters, which would not comment pending confirmation. PROBLEM OF SURCHARGE LONDON, June 8. Dr Earle Page (Federal Minister of Commerce) stated that the Anglo-Aus-tralian air mail negotiations still centred upon the problem of surcharge, on which no decision had been reached. The question of ihe route to be taken was likewise undecided.
