THE AUCTIONEERS. Dunedin or Clinton. Since the plight in Christchurch of the disabled Canadian ex-soldier, Mr Albert Wilton, has become known numerous offers of help have been received by the family. Mr and Mrs Wilton say that the sympathy expressed with them in their misfortune has been most encouraging, and they are deeply grateful. Mr Wilton was ejected from the Christchurch Hospital by order of the North Canterbury Hospital Board last Wednesday '(says the Star-Sun), and went to live with his wife and family of two small children at 10 Purdie street, where the facilities are inadequate for a man in Mr Wilton’s condition, suffering as he is from colitis and heart trouble.
