Golden King, Salmo Salar and Daring Deed began in front of the stand and ran the last seven furlongs of a circuit in Imin 34 3-ssec. They kept together throughout without being fullv extended. Vantoon and The Jeweller covered six furlongs in Imin 22 2-ssec. Grand Finale was restricted to halfpace work. Master Anomaly, Hula Belle and others got through useful tasks. Roval Pal and Look Smart were schooled over a round of the hurdles.
