SCOTTISH COMEDY
“BUNTY PULLS THE STRINGS”
Commencing to-morrow week for a season of five nights, the Little Theatre Society will present, in the Little Theatre, King street, the three-act Scottish comedy, “ Bnnty Pulls the Strings,” by Graham Mofi’att, described as being “as Seoteb as bonnie Scotland.”
“ Runty ” is being produced at the request and under the patronage of the Council of Scottish Societies. It was first played in England in 1911, through the kindness of Mr Cyril Maude, who placed the Playhouse Theatre, London, at the disposal of the author and his Scottish company. In the same year “ Buniy ” opened at the Haymarket Theatre, London, and ran for 10 months, enjoying the record for the longest run at that theatre.
