GRADUATION CEREMONY CONFERRING OF DEGREES AND DIPLOMAS Mr W. J. Morrell, chancellor of the Otago University, presided at the animal graduation ceremony of the University yesterday afternoon in the Town Hall, which held a very large gathering. Mr Morrell, in a few introductory remarks, said he desired, on behalf of the chancellor of the University of New Zealand, to confer the degrees and diplomas awarded by tho University of Otago. The proceedings were marked with excellent harmony, few interjections being made by the students gathered in the back of the hall.
