UNUSUAL FAMILY REUNION

SEPARATED FOR THIRTY YEARS Mr A. P. Hosking, sales manager of the Amalgamated Wireless Valve Company and retiring chairman of the Australian Valve Merchants’ Association, sailed last week for Capetown to participate in a remarkable family reunion.

Mr Hosking’s family spent many years in Capetown; There are two brothers and four sisters. Their parents were English, but the children grew up in Capetown. About 30 years ago Mr A. P. Hosking went to Australia, and later his brother went to North-western Rhodesia, and one sister went to Northern Transvaal’. The other three, sister* remained in Cape Colony. The youngest sister will shortly be the occasion will be marked by a family reunion. The brothers and sisters have not met as a united family for 30 years.
