RISE IN FAT CATTLE PRICES FAT CATTLE A medium yarding of fat cattle, numbering 270. came forward. There were a few pens of prime heavy cattle, the bulk of the entry being made up of medium and light weights. The prices showed a rise of 10 s to 15s on better quality cattle. FAT SHEEP A medium yarding of 1010 fat sheep was offered. The number of prime wethers was small, these showing a rise of 2s, the majority being medium-weights with a proportion of light and unfinished sorts. Prime ewes were of short numbers, these also allowing a rise of 2s. Medium and light-weights could be quoted on a par with last week's rates.
