RESTORATION OF CHURCH A far-reaching scheme for the restoration of the Clmreli of Holy Sepulchre, by which it would revert to its original condition, is embodied in a report which has been made to the British Government. Tins church, which enclosed the mound of Calvary and the tomb of Christ, has been in an increasingly dangerous condition since the earthquake of 1027. Mr William Harvey, who was nominated by the British Government to analyse • the structural weakness from which the most famous church in Christendom is suffering, has now framed his recommendations. They will be considered by the Government of Palestine
