OLYMPIC GAMES
AUCKLAND NOMINATIONS (Per United Press Association) AUCKLAND, March 10. The Auckland Amateur Athletic Centre this evening deck ed to nominate J. W. Savidan for the 10,000 metres and marathon events at the Olympic Games in Berlin next August. A stipulation was made that the New Zealand Council he notified that Savidan had not yet competed over a marathon distance. F. A. Finlayson, provincial hurdles champion, and W. S. Bainbridge, sprint champion, were also nominated for the 400 metres hurdles and the 200 and 400 metres respectively.
