Monday, March 16. (Before Mr H. W. Bundle, S.M.) DRUNKENNESS, Two first offenders for drunkenness were each fined 20s in default 24 hours’ imprisonment. FIGHT BETWEEN BROTHERS. Frederick James Rosenbrock, a carpenter, aged 31, and John Frederick Nelson Rosenbrock, a carpenter, aged 34, were charged with fighting in High street on Saturday evening. They pleaded guilty and each was fined 40s.—According to Sergeant O’Shea the two accused wore and the fight was the result of a family squabble. Both men were under the influence of liquor. ASSAULT CHARGE. Two young men whose names were suppressed in the meantime, pleaded not guilty to a joint charge of assault, and were remanded to appear on Friday next.
