MESSAGE FROM LEADER (Copyright to the Australian Associated Press in Australia and New Zealand.) KALIMPONG, March 15. (Received March 16, at 9 p.m.) A message from Mr Hugh Ruttledge states: “Our transport, consisting of 250 animals, each carrying 100 pounds of supplies and equipment, left to-day.
Major Morris, Wyn Harris, Erie Shipton, and myself will rejoin the main body to-morrow at Gangtok, whither Lieutenant Smith Windham has already gone to attend to the wireless equipment. The whole party hopes to leave there on March IS for Lachen and Gongrala.”
