POLO FLAYER KILLED
PRINCE SERGE MDIVANIA TERRIFIC KICK ON HEAD PALM BEACH, March 15. (Received March 16, at 5.5 p.m.) Prince Serge MdivciniJi, biother of Prince Alexis, who was killed in an automobile accident, was fatally injured while playing in a polo match. The prince’s horse collided with one ridden by Cecil Smith, one of Americans loading players. Prince Mdivania was thrown to the ground, and he attempted to regain his feet, but the pony kicked backwards, striking him a terrific blow on the head. He died within 15 minutes from cerebral 1 Hemorrhage. A fashionable society audience, including Prince Mdivania’s wife, the former Louise van Alen, witnessed the accident.
