CLOSING OF OLD BUILDING (Per United Press Association) WELLINGTON, March 13. The Government has decided to close to the public the old Dominion Museum at the rear of Parliament Buildings so that the packing of the exhibits for transfer to the new building at Mount Cook cau be completed. The Minister of Internal Affairs (Mr W. E. Parry) said the work of transferring the exhibits would be commenced next month, the new building being due to be handed by the contractors to the Board of Trustees on April 1. The museum has been open continuously for more than 70 years. The building is one of Wellington's landmarks.
