At the meeting of Bay Lodge No, 18, the chair was taken by Vice Arch Druid Ero. J. Wilson. There was an excellent attendance of members. Royal Arch Druid Bro. A. Baird and his officers of the chapter attended officially and were received with musical honours. Arrangements were completed for the West Harbour visit on Thursday next. The toasts were honoured and replied to by R.A.D. Bro. A. Baird and P.A. Bro. C. M'Crone, Otago Lodge. Supper was served, after which the members and visitors played cards.

Arch Druid Bro. C. Carolin presided over the regular meeting of Lily of the Valley Lodge, The Olive Branch Juvenile Lodge was admitted and entertained by the adult brethren. Two competitions were decided and resulted as follows; — Quoit Competition: Bro. Murphy 1, Bro. Driver 2, Bro. Hill 3; Shooting Competition: Bro. Connell 1 and Bro. Powell 2. Arch Druid Bro. Carolin presented the prizes to the boys. One new candidate was initiated into the Order by the lodge officers. Notification was received from the Koyal Arch Chapter that a special meeting will be held on Monday for the benefit of the visiting delegates to the Grand Lodge meeting. The visitors were: P.G.P. Bro. C. Jacobson of All Nations Lodge, P.D.P. Bro. H. Brockie, of Ivanhoe Lodge, and P.A. Bro. Avery of Otago Lodge- . , t , At the quarterly meeting of Ivanhoe Lodge A.D. Bro. Dale presided over a large attendance of members and visitors. D.P. Bro. Paterson paid the lodge his last official visit as D.P. of No. 1 District. Included in the correspondence was an invitation to Good Intent Lodge Anniversary. Sick visitors reported on sick members and sick pay amounting to £SO was passed for payment and also accounts amounting to £lO7. The Grand Lodge order paper was fully discussed by all members and the lodge delegates were given instructions how to vote on several remits. In others they were given a free hand. It wag decided to meet at 6.30 p.m. next lodge night to allow the officers to attend Good Intent Lodge. The loyal toasts were duly honoured and responded to by D.P. Bro. Paterson and P.G.P. Bro, Jacobson. Before closing, the lodge congratulated Bro. Paterson on the able manner in which he had carried out his duties as D.P. of No. 1 District. At the quarterly meeting of Mistletoe Lodge. No. 25, Arch Druid Bro. L. G. Cox presided over a good attendance of members. District President Bro. A. E. Jcllv attended officially and was warmly received. Officers and members of Pride of Mornington Lodge also paid an official visit to the lodge and received a very warm welcome. During the evening four candidates were initiated into the lodge and Order and two propositions were received for initiations next lodge night. Grand Lodge remits were discussed and the delegate instructed accordingly. After routine business was disposed of, D.P. Bro. Jelly presented P.A. Bro. J. Hall with a framed P.A. diploma on behalf of ♦he lodge. Bro. Hall suitably responded. The lodge was then adjourned for the purpose of playing the challenge match for the euchre shield, the result being a win for Pride of Mornington Lodge by 11 games to 5.
