A RATIONALISATION PLAN LEGISLATION UNDER WAY (Pick United Pricks Association) ■ CHRISTCHURCH, March 7. The Industries Efficiency Bill, which will provide for the rationalisation and co-ordination of industries, is in course of preparation by the Minister of Industries and Commerce, Mr 1). 0. Sullivan. The Minister said to-day that the exact terms of the Bill had not yet been settled, but he hoped to have it ready in time to be passed in the coming session. Ho was having the subject thoroughly exam ineed in order to get, if possible, a measure that would carry the confidence of the interested parties and still be effective in achieving its purpose. The Bill would provide for the representation of the Minister through the Department of Industries nnd Commerce on some form of controlling authority. He was endeavouring to get down to details as the result of consultations with officials of the department and with other experienced persons, but there was still a good deal of work to he done before the Bill would bo ready.
