MOSSY CREEK RETURN (Per United Press Association) GREYMOUTH, March 8. The Mossy Creek dredge return amounted to 03oz Bd\vt from 9G70 yards in 127 hours. ARGO RETURN (Per United Press Association) GREYMOUTH, March 8. The Argo dredge return is reported to be 570 z from 12,000 yards in 127 hours. ADDISONS" FLAT RETURN (Per United Press Association) WESTPORT, March 7. The Addisons' Flat return for the fortnight ended March 3 was 390 z 14dwt for 38 shifts. The Golden Sands return was 50oz 2dwt for 34 shifts of eight hours each. NEW MINING COMPANY The directors of Hauraki Mines Consolidated, Ltd. (Coromandel), in a circular to shareholders, announce that they have entered into an agreement with Metals Trust, Ltd., for the, formation of a company to acquire the mine, buildings, and battery of the company for £950, and the payment of 10,000 Is fully-paid-up shares in a new company with a capital of £SOOO to be known as the Port Hill Gold Mines. Ltd. It has been arranged that 85,000 Is contributing shares in the capital of the new company will first be offered to Hauraki shareholders. These will be offered for a period of 14 days from yesterday, after which they will be open for public subscription. The capital of the new company will be utilised in carrying out bulk tests of the low grade surface and the exploitation of the Venus reef. BLACKWATER RETURN The Blackwater Mines return for February was as follows:—Crushed, 3435 tons. Yielding 1434 fine ounces of gold, valued at £7 0s 6d an ounce, £10,423.
