HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY

NGAPARA'S ANNUAL SHOW DeEpitc the inclement weather, the entries for the Ngapara Horticultural Society's annual show, held on February 29, were up to the standard of previous years. The hall was gay' with an artistic array of blooms of every description, aud the. tables in the vegetable section were filled to capacity by an excellent array ot vegetables of all kjnds. The artisticallyarranged collections of vegetables of Messrs S. Blair and J. Wilson and Mrs Butt were much admired by the many patrons who visited the hall during the afternoon and evening. The baking and preserves section contained many very good exhibits. Features of the decorative section were the decorated mantelpieces exhibited by Mrs J. Wilson and Miss M. Newland. The Robertson-Rushton Cup, for most points in the cut flower and vegetable sections, wag won by Mr S. Blair. The prize list is as follows: POT PLANTS. Judge:' Mr James Main.
