BALCLUTHA Evening Sports The recently-formed Balclutha Cycling and Athletic Club held a meeting on Thursday evening on the trotting track on the lower reserve. Delightful weather prevailed, and it was found possible to get off three events before darkness fell. Mr C. 15. O'Hara officiated as starter, Mr E. Hughes handicapper, Mr J. M'Noe judge, and Mr Lea Miller secretary. Results: — One-mile Cycle Race.—C. , Porter (80yds) 1, W. Williamson (110yds) 2, W. Dawson (110yds) 3. Also started: J. Goodman (90yds), A. Dawson (130yds).
