COLLIE TRIALS
MILLER'S FLAT CLUB The thirtieth annual trials "of the Miller's Flat Collie Club were held on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday on Mr J. Stiven's property, Miller's Flat. The sheep were lent "by Mr C. Batchelor, and the judge, Mr W. M'Kenzie, gave every satisfaction. The following are the results: — Class I.—MAIDEN HEADING. Mr J. A. Sinclair's Nell 1 Mr J. O'Neill's Bede 2 Mr A. Bennetts; slb of tea to the local competitor gaining most points at trials, Mr A. Gibson (177 points). Sheep Guessing.—Mr R. G. Woodhouse and Mr G. Richardson (equal). 9321 b. The correct weight was !)41b._ A dance was held on the first night of the trials, and, in spite of- the inclement weather, there was a good attendance. Miss Gordon's band supplied excellent music, and Messrs E. L. Adams and J. Parker were the masters of ceremonies.
