Three hundred calves bred from English stock have been transported by aeroplane from Lima to Cuzco in Peru. They are intended for stock-raising purposes, and the aeroplane has provided a safer and healthier method of transport than the lone journey by coastal steamship, followed by tedious and protracted mountain railway stages.
