Parasitic flies which devour the ragwort seed are to be liberated soon in the Waikato district. It was mentioned by the Minister of Agriculture (Mr W. Lee Martin) to-day that arrangements were being made by Dr D. Miller, entomologist at the Cawthron Institute, to liberate the ragwort need fly in a Waikato locality to be chosen in co-operation with the Department of Agriculture.
