KORIMAKO DELAYED BY WEATHER Thick weather at Taieri and Oamaru where the visibility was nil, delayed the departure of the Union airliner Korimako from Christchurch at 11.15 a.m. yesterday, but an attempt was made at 2 p.m. to get through to Dunedin. - The weather along the route became more unfavourable towards Oamaru. and the pilot, Flight-lieutenant G. R. White, decided to return to Timaru until conditions improved. At 5 p.m. the Koriniako left Timaru again and reached Taieri at 6 p.m. No passengers were o:a board.

The Korimako will leave Taieri to-day at 11.30 a.m. with Mr D. Collis as a passenger for Palmerston North. "The Karoro left the Taieri airport at 11.30 a.m. yesterday with the following passengers:—Messrs D. W. Madden and W. A. Boothroyd (for Christchurch), Mr T. M. Ball (for BlemVim), and Mr C. J. Whitaker (for Palmerston North).
