A 21-months-old Sainoyede dog, owned by Mr A. Green, Napier, met its death recently under most unusual circumstances. While roaming on the cliff tops it gave chase to a seagull, which lured the animal to the cliff edge and over. It crashed some 200 feet to the roadway below, and died of its injuries some time later. This dog, well bred and almost pure white, was the envy of many clog lovers of Napier, and its untimely death will he keenly regretted by many. When it fell over the cliff not a bone in its body was broken, but it suffered internal injuries. Jt -was given medical attention, but failed to recover.
