COMMERCIAL TRAVELLERS' MATCH A team of bowlers from (he Commer cial Travellers and Warehousemen's Association played a match against the country customers on Saturday afternoon, four rinks being matched against two rinks from Palmerston, one from Hampden and one from Waikouaiti. After an interesting and enjoyable afternoon's sport the country customers ran out the winners by 117 points to 75. A social function was held in the evening, when Mr D. Y. M. Millar pre sented the bowl-jug to the winners, commenting on the excellent sportsmanshin displayed by the victorious rinks. He also made reference to the kindly actior: of Mr Hislon and Messrs Walker and Hall, of Auckland, in presenting the jug for competition. During the evening songs were sung by Messrs Wil helm sen, Angel] and Griffcn.
