THE UNIVERSITY TEAM ALL KANSAI DEFEATED TAKARAZUKA, January 23. (Received Jan, 27, at 1.15 ami.) The University team won by 31 to 3 against All Kansai at Koshien. In the first spell the Kansai forwards dominated the play and the half-time score was 8 points to 3. Definite superiority was gained only in the last quarter of an hour, when the University backs showed initiative and superior pace, despite facing a strong wind. About 20,000 were present. After the match the local Governor presented a magnificent loving cup to the team, which is being most handsomely entertained, and the time is being utilised very profitably in seeing characteristic features of Japanese life. /
