RECORDS LOWERED JUNIOR GIRL’S PERFORMANCE. (Plr Exited Press Association) AUCKLAND, January 11. One New Zealand record was lowered at the Auckland Intermediate and Junior Swimming Championships, held in the Tepid Baths to-night, the successful competitor being the winner of the 50 Hards Junior Girls’ title. Miss M. Black. Her time was 29 3-ssec, a reduction of onefifth of a second upon her own record, which was established in Auckland nearly two years ago. A further title gained by her was the 100 Yards, in which she lowered the Auckland record from Imin 11 2-ssec to Imin 10 3-ssec. The following team will represent Auckland at the New Zealand Intermediate and Junior Championship meeting at Hamilton on January 25, 27 and 28; Intermediate Boys.—loo Yards and 220 Yards, A. Pascoe; 100 Yards Breaststroke, M. Cleary. Intermediate Girls. —100 \ards and 2~0 Yards. Misses J. Finlayson and G. Priestley; 220 Yards, Miss K. Grey; 75 Yards Breaststroke, Miss G. Priestley. Junior Boys.—loo Yards, J. Enwright; 220 Yards Freestyle and 75 Yards Breaststroke, S. Rippcn. Junior Girls. —50 Yards and 100 Yards, Mies M. Black; 5.0 Yards Breaststroke. Miss J. Wright.
