She Is to sail this evening for Tauranga, Auckland and Whangarel, via ports. Karu Is due here this morning from Wellington. She will sail this afternoon for Oamaru, Tlmaru, and Lyttelton to complete loading for Wellington, Nelson, and New Plymouth. Storm, which has completed her annual overhaul at Lyttelton, Is due at Dunedin tomorrow. She will sail the same day for Tlmaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, and Wanganui. Breeze Is due here on Friday from Bluff, and will sail the same day for Tlmaru. Lyttelton. Wellington, Picton, and Wanganui. Walnul Is to leave Wellington on Friday for Bluff and Dunedin. She Is due here on Tuesday morning to load for Wellington, Napier, and Gisborne. MARAMA FROM MELBOURNE. The Union Company’s steamer' Marama arrived at Dunedin yesterday morning from Melbourne, via Milford Sound and Bluff, after a pleasant trip across the Tasman. She was berthed at the cross wharf to land passengers and discharge general cargo. The freight Includes transhipments from the Toulouse, Taroona, Mongolia, and Viminale. Rain delayed discharging operations on the Marama, and In consecrience the vessel’s departure for Lyttelton, Wellington, Bluff, and Melbourne has been postponed until 6 p.m. to-day. THE CANADIAN PLANTER. The Canadian Planter, which left Halifax on December 31, is due at Auckland on February 10 and Wellington on February 14. She will complete discharge at Australian ports. LOCH LOMOND FROM VANCOUVER. The Loch Lomond, en route from Vancouver, is now expected to reach Auckland on January 19, later completing discharge at Wellington and Australia. NORFOLK FOR ENGLAND. The Federal freighter Norfolk arrived at Wellington on Saturday from Auckland to complete loading. She will sail finally on Friday for London. Avonmouth, Liverpool, and Glasgow. NEW GERMAN CANAL. A canal connecting Oldenburg and the Lower Weser ports—ElsHeth, Brake, Nordenham, Wesermunde, Bremerhaven, and Bremen—with the territory west of the Ems has recently been opened for traffic. The Kustenkanal, as It is called joins the Dortmund-Ems Kanal at the village of Dorpen, 15km. south of Papcnburg, In the State of Oldenburg. It has a length of 60km., and there are locks affording access to the Dortmund-Ems Kanal at Dorpen. and the River Hunte at Oldenburg. ROTORUA LEAVES CRISTOBAL. The Rotorua, which left Napier on December 21 for London, arrived at Balboa on the afternoon of January 11, and sailed from Cristobal on the afternoon of January 12. CORNWALL FOR FINAL LOADING. The Now Zealand Shipping Company advises that the Cornwall is due at Port Chalmers on Friday morning from Wellington to complete loading for Loudon and West of England ports.
