TO THE EDITOR Sir, —Having been appointed manager to the Salvation Army Home, 36 Maclaggan street, I should like to thank the friends in Dunedin who have assisted us in the past and to ask for a continuance of their support. I find that during the past year we have been able to supply 13,679 free meals and 14,024 cheap meals. Then we have been able to help with 4608 free beds and about. 30 cheap beds per night were supplied to the men who came to the home for help. To continue this good work I shall be glad to Receive help in money, clothes or food. We shall gladly call for anything our friends can give us. Our telephone number is 13-143.
