RAISING THE STANDARD A NEW ORGANISATION (British Official Wireless) RUGBY, January 11. (Received Jan. 13, at 5.5 p.m.) An Institute of Export was inaugurated yesterday by a number of promin ent leaders in the business world. Th'> new organisation will work for the development of the British export trade by raising the general standard of ex port practice, providing specialist train ing, promulgating rules of professional conduct, and providing information and research. The founders represent all ths interests concerned—manufacturers, merchants, shipping and insurance com panics, and bankers. The vice-presidents include Lord Melchett, Lord Hirst, Sir Harry MacGowan, Sir George Beharrell, Sir George MacDonagh. Lord Wakefield. Sir Malcolm Robertson, and Sir Francis Goodenough.
