PARADES BANNED
BLUE SHIRTS IN EGYPT CAIRO, January 11. The Government has banned parades of Blue Shirts. A previous message stated : The fashion of coloured shirts as an index of political opinions has spread to Egypt. The organisers of the Wafd have decided that the young Wafdists enrolled in the semi-military formations in future will wear blue shirts and grey trousers and tarboosh, and salute by clapping smartly on the chest.
