INDUSTRIAL LIFE INSURANCE
TO THE. EDITOR.
Sir, —It is high time that something was done to protect the public in the matter of life insurance. Take my own case. I have paid in £9O and the bonuses amount to £3O approximately. I am now advised that my policy is worth £27 10s, and that the company will advance me £25. I was induced to take this policy on the understanding that I could borrow 75 per cent, of the money paid in, I am like a number of others in an unfortunate position "now that I require a loan. I may add that the company that issued ray policy is neither of the two from which you published comments on the letter from " Fiat Lux." I have, like "■ Taken Down," written to the Minister-in-charge of Life Insurance.—l am, etc., Another Mug. Mataura, December 9.
