THE WEATHER
Ideal summer weather' prevailed yesterday, with a light north-east breeze and a maximum temperature of 74deg. The barometer had. a falling tendency, and registered 30.05 last evening. REPORTS FROM THE NORTH. (Special to Daily Times) AUCKLAND, December 10. A light southerly wind and hot, sunny weather were experienced to-day. The barometer was steady at 30.25 in during the morning and fell .10in after mid-day. WELLINGTON, December 10. The weather was cloudy until about 9 a.m., but the remainder of the day was bright and warm; with a northerly breeze prevailing. ',- The maximum temperature was 71.5 deg. CHRISTCHURCH, December 10. The weather to-day was clear and sunny, with a light north-easterly breeze and a maximum temperature of 70.8 deg. " The barometer is rising and now registers 30.03 inches.
