BLIND FLYING
TUITION IN NEW ZEALAND A STATEMENT CHALLENGED (Special to Daily Times) AUCKLAND, December 2. The recent statement that the plane made by the Wellington Aero Club for the provision of tuition in blind flying were a new departure for clubs flying in the Dominion is challenged by the Auckland Aero Club, which has had a machine at its Waikato branch in use for such work for over a year. The aeroplane is the ZK-ACK. in which Oscar Garden flew from England to Australia some yearn ago. The blind dying ' n ' stmments for the Auckland Clubs nia* chine were made in New Zealand, and instruction in blind flying has been given to a number of pupils.
