Holmglen, which arrived yesterday from Wellington, will sail to-day for Tlmaru, Lyttelton, and Wellington to complete loading for New Plymouth. Walmarino Is due at Dunedin this morning from Bluff, and will sail this afternoon for Timaru, Lyttelton. Wellington, and Auckland. Breeze is due here this morning from Lyttelton, and will sail to-night for Timaru and Lyttelton to complete loading for Wellington, Picton, and Wanganui. Holmdale, which arrived here yesterday morning from Wellington, sailed last evening for Oamaru, Timaru, and Lyttelton to complete loading for Wellington, Picton, and Wanganui. Parera Is due at Dunedin to-morrow from Wellington. She will sail the same day for Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, New Plymouth, and Fort Waikato. Wlngatul Is to leave Auckland on Friday for Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, and Oamaru. She is due at this port on December 12. MARAMA FROM MELBOURNE. The Union Company’s steamer Marama is due at Dunedin about 9.30 a.m. to-day from Melbourne, via Milford Sound and Bluff. She Will berth at the cross wharf to land passengers and discharge cargo. The Marama is timed to sail at 10.30 a.m. to-morrow for Lyttelton, Wellington, Bluff, and Melbourne. PORT HOBART FROM NEW YORK. The Commonwealth and Dominion Line motor ship Port Hobart arrived at Auckland on Saturday from New York and Jamaica. She has general cargo from New York and oranges from Jamaica for Auckland. The remainder of the cargo is for Wellington, Lyttelton, anti Dunedin.

AKAROA LEAVES COLON. The Akaroa, which left Auckland on November 7 for London, sailed from Colon on the afternoon of November 27. WAIRUNA FOR AUSTRALIA. Having discharged the Dunedin portion of her cargo from Pacific Coast ports, the Wairuna sailed last evening for Melbourne and Sydney to complete discharge. She will afterwards go to Newcastle, Suva, Apia, and Vancouver. KARETU FROM SYDNEY. The Karetu has been fixed to load at Newcastle on December 7, and Is to leave Sydney on December 9 for Bluff, Dunedin, Tlmaru, and Lyttelton. She Is due at Dunedin on December 15. MAUNGANUI FROM SAN FRANCISCO. The Union Company’s R.M.S. Maunganul, cu route from San Francisco, was due at Rarotonga yesterday. She Is due at Wellington on December 9, and will sail the following day for Sydney. NARBADA PROM CALCUTTA. The Union Company’s’ chartered steamer Narbada was scheduled to leave Calcutta on November 28 for Penang, Singapore, and Samarang to complete loading for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, and Bluff. She is due at Auckland about December 27., BENREOCH FROM YOKOHAMA. The Benreoch Is reported to have left Yokohama on November 20. via Port Kembla, to load at Picton, Napier, Gisborne, Tolaga Bay, Wellington, Lyttelton, Tlmaru, and Port Chalmers. She will unload her cargo at Continental and United Kingdom ports. RANGITATA’S ITINERARY. The -Rangltata, which is at present discharging London .cargo at Wellington, Is to leave there to-day for Napier and Auckland. She is due back at Wellington on December 14, sailing finally on December 20 for London, via Panama. WAIKOUAITI FROM AUSTRALIA. The Union Company advises that the Wafkoualtl is now due at Dunedin to-morrow morning from Newcastle and Sydney, via Bluff. She is expected to sail on Thursday afternoon forTlmaru and-Lyttelton to complete discharge. THE MELBOURNE MARU. The Melbourne Maru Is scheduled to read) Wellington from Japan, via Australia, on December 7 and Auckland on December 10. She is to be despatched from Auckland for Japan on December 12. LURLINE AT SAN FRANCISCO. The Matson liner Lurllne, from Melbourne, Sydney, and Auckland, arrived at Los Angeles on November 30 and at San Francisco yesterday. She will resume her usual running to Honolulu. THE SYDNEY MARU. The O.S.K. Line motor ship Sydney Maru was to clear Japan yesterday for Hongkong, Australia, Dunedin, Lyttelton, Wellington, and Auckland. She is due at Dunedin on January 9. PERSONAL. Captain R. M. Kane has resumed command of the Tamahine after holidays, replacing Captain C. Sharpe, who is awaiting orders at Wellington. Captain A. T. Adam has taken command of the Kowhal, relieving Captain C. J. Hackworth, who has been transferred to the Ngatoro. Captain R. Huntly. has taken command of the Kini. SUEZ CANAL TRAFFIC. The number of ships which passed through the Suez canal last month was 531, compared with 468 in September, 1934. Receipts totalled 73,410,000 francs, compared with 67,860,000 francs. For the nine months to the end of September this year transits have numbered 4347 and receipts 650,930,000 francs, compared with 4196 and 636,460,000 francs In 1934. The increase in receipts Is thus 14,470,000 francs, or approximately £116,000 (at par). PASSENGERS BY THE NIAGARA. The R.M.S.
