UNEMPLOYMENT RELIEF

LOCAL ACTIVITIES • GROUPS TO REPORT, The following groups will report for work with the Works Department at 8 a.m. to-day:— R 68 —Aim street, at Eundie street. R 87 —Orbell street, at Fortune street. RI4OIM Orbell street,- at Fortune street. FORM U.B. 32A Members of the undermentioned groups must obtain form U.B. 32a from the Employment Bureau and after completion return it personally by the date specified. Each man must produce his levy book with the completed form. Any man who fails to return the form by the specified date will be deleted from his group, and will not be re-started until he has been re-grouped by the Employment Bureau. The groups concerned are as follows: — To be returned by December 7. —Groups 250-2&4. 300-344, 350-389, 203-236, 801-814, 850-865. 903-915, 951-965, Whare Flat No. 1, North Taieri No. 1. To be returned bv December 14Groups 62-93, 408-418, 610-612, 703-725, Company Bay, gardening specials, Reilly’s specials, depot specials, forestry groups 1. 2 and 3. single men on sustenance, waterside workers. To be returned by December 21. — Groups 1050, 1301, 1401, 1402, 1822, 1881, 2002, 2102, 2421, 2422, 2601, 2704, 2761, 2802, 3004, 3302, married men on sustenance. Cox) acknowledges with thanks a cheque for £2OO from the Dunedin Community Sing-% ing Committee for the • Mayor’s Relief Fund, 1000 bags of confectionery from the Mayfair Confectionery Company for the Mayoress’s Christmas party for the children, and 7s 6d from the children at Karitane.
