NINETEEN YEARS AFTER
Afore than 19 years after he was wounded in the Battle of the Somme, Harry Edgar Wakcford. aged 49, of Hawthorne road, f Carshalton, Surrey, manager of a hank at Hammersmith, died from the effects of a German shrapnel bullet, which lodged in one lung. “ Death from war wounds ” was the inquest verdict.
