(Per United Press Association) AUCKLAND, December 2. “ The facts disclosed in this case should draw the attention of parents and others in charge of children to the danger of allowing boys to associate with elderly men living alone,” said Mr Justice Fair, when Edmond Grove Bennett, aged 64. appeared in the Supreme Court on seven chargee of indecently assaulting boys. C. Levvey, S.M., in court this morning on a charge of being intoxicated in charge of a car. The magistrate declared that it was a great pity that Kelly, with 40 years of unblemished record as the holder of a licence of some sort or another, should have fallen from grace. As Kelly was now on sustenance, he could not inflict a fine, but would cancel his licence for 12 months.
